Sistemando un po’ di bootleg mi è capitato fra le mani questo triplo CD che mi ero dimenticato di avere.

La registrazione testimonia il sesto ed ultimo concerto di Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street a Philadelphia durante il Reunion Tour (25 settembre 1999).

La qualità audio del bootleg non è niente di eccezionale però l’apertura con Incident On The 57th Street non è una cosa da tutti i giorni.

In scaletta troviamo anche Streets Of Philadelphia e soprattutto New York City Serenade.

Del concerto ne avevo parlato qua.

Questo bootleg testimonia l’ultimo concerto europeo di Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street Band durante il tour di Wrecking Ball.

Sembra ormai certo che il tour riprenderà nel 2013 con un nuovo leg anche in Europa.

Del concerto più lungo della carriera di Bruce e del pre-show acustico si è già detto tutto, non resta che attendere l’uscita del DVD bootleg, in modo da poter anche rivedere quella memorabile serata.

Un concerto di Springsteen nella mia città, chissà  quando e se capiterà di nuovo.

Il concerto è iniziato malissimo con Springsteen che ha salutato in friulano e in Croato; vorrei proprio conoscere il genio che gli ha tradotto i saluti!

La scaletta non è stata della migliori inoltre Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street Band erano visibilmente stanchi dopo il concerto della sera prima a Firenze.

Il bootleg testimonia l’ ultimo concerto del 1975 per Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street Band la data è infatti quella del 31 dicembre 1975.

Di quella storica data esistono diversi bootleg fra cui alcuni di ottima qualità come ad esempio  Last Tango in Philly (EV2) e il volume numero 33 della serie Uber uscita ormai diversi anni fa su Stone Pony London.

Il mio preferito è però questo realizzato da Ed Sciaky.
