Well, things are starting to heat up down on E Street.
A lot of you have been hearing that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be on tour in 2012. That is absolutely correct. The European dates run from the middle of May until end of July and are being announced this week. Info on the US dates and the World tour dates will coming up shortly.
In addition, we want you to know that the music is almost done (but still untitled), we have almost settled on the release date (but not quite yet), and that we are all incredibly excited about everything that we’re planning for 2012. That’s all the info we have for right now, but we’ll get back to you–real soon.

| South Florida is still reeling from losing one of its most celebrated residents, saxophonist Clarence Clemons, earlier this year.
“The Big Man” passed away June 18 at age 69 following complications from a stroke and left a charitable void in the music community nationally and locally. So some of his famous friends are picking up his fundraising efforts for HomeSafe, a charity that assists abused children in Palm Beach County. For those of us who didn’t know Clemons personally but want to contribute to his memory, here’s an opportunity. This October 1, the “Classic Rock & Roll Party: A Tribute to Clarence Clemons” will take over Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with a bevy of classic-rock musicians. Clarence’s nephew Jake Clemons, who is a gifted saxophonist in his own right, will lead the evening’s house band, Temple of Soul, and there will be an abundance of guest vocalists to carry the mantle of the Big Man’s legacy. Among them: the Monkees’ Davy Jones, Gary U.S. Bonds, American Idol contestant Brett Loewenstern, and Clemons’ former bandmate J.T. Bowen.

Direi che dopo una settimana i numeri del sondaggio sul futuro della E-Street Band sono abbastanza chiari.
Secondo il 76,9% Springsteen farà un altro tour con la E-Street e al posto di Big Man prenderà suo nipote (66,7%).
Sul futuro di Springsteet, alternativo a un tour con la E-street, ci sono due risposte pari merito.
Hanno infatti raggiunto il 44,4% sia l’ ipotesi di un tour stile Devils & Dust che un altro tour stile Seeger Sessions.
