High Hopes New Album And New Tour

High Hopes, the new album of Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band, will be official released tomorrow January 14th.

As already discussed here, the new tour (High Hopes Tour?) will start on January 26th from Cape Town and will call only South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

There isn’t any scheduled concert to promote High Hopes in Europe or in the U.S.A. for the moment.

Apparently, Bruce Springsteen is working on several projects: new edition of Greetings From Asbury Park, new edition of The Wild, The Innocent And The E-Street Shuffle, special edition of The River and two new albums.

After a lot of rumours and speculations (Springsteen: A New Album in 2014?) is now official that Bruce Springsteen will publish his new album on January 14th 2014.

The title of this new album is High Hopes and the title track is already available on Amazon.

E-Street Band Farewell Tour?

After the latest show in Stockholm Bruce Springsteen bought a full page on the main Sweden newspaper to display this announcement: “We want to thank you and all of your relatives for making us a part of your life, your culture, your country”.

What do you think? Is it just a thank you page for one of the best audience or is it the farewell tour for Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band?

Oggi venerdì 11 gennaio – data di nascita di Big Man –  si festeggia per la prima volta, ma  nel solo New Jersey, il Clarence Clemons Day istituito nello scorso mese di dicembre grazie al senatore Jennifer Beck.

Per ricordarlo, fra tutti i video a disposizione, ho scelto questo tributo degli U2 dello scorso 30 giugno con la canzone Moment Of Surrender.

 

Consiglio di leggere la sua autobiografia, uscita in italiano un paio d’anni fa con la prefazione di Bruce Springsteen, intitolata Big Man – Storie vere e racconti incredibili.

Come al solito le date del nuovo leg europeo del Wrecking Ball Tour stanno uscendo un po’ alla volta.

Per ora sono ufficiali 17 date fra cui quattro in Germania e quattro in Italia. Appena la situazione sarà più chiara farò un post riassuntivo.
Tanto si parla di un tour negli stadi non credo quindi ci saranno problemi di biglietti per nessuno.

Tornando al leg in corso Bruce Springsteen e la E-Street Band stanno suonando a Portland dove, causa fusi orari, il concerto è ancora in corso.
