Audio source 1 had better low end and crowd noise (sense of scale), source 2 had better sounding more direct music from the sound system. Combined together was the best. However, source 2 was incomplete, so many songs have only source 1. The sax and piano are very low in the mix on source 1. So much so that it almost seems like Clarence missed his Janey and Mary’s Place solos entirely (he didn’t). Not that many of you will watch Mary’s Place anyway 😉
Video source 3 is the best video, but of course, incomplete.
The inconsistency of the sources is reflected in the inconsistency of the mix, however, I think I did the best I could, and I certainly enjoyed watching it back.
Yes 3DVDs. Considering the fact I was re-encoding exisitng DVDs, I wasn’t happy with the bitrate needed to fit it onto 2 DVDs, even if I had compressed the audio.
